Black canvas

Jill Sander's maxi white dress as a black canvas = infinite possibilities. And a ghost.

Process of turning the ghost into a person. Make-up & red roses.

it's a Celine+hippie wedges.

The thing itself.

Crime location: magazines+glue+scissor+camera. Handcraft-old-school-styling-way, yeah. Like those people that have always sweared they'd never get a cell phone in their lives.

When advertisement turns art

Found here this 2002 ad which is an amazing piece of work done by the Maksimovic & Partners advertising agency for product Back To Nature Vacation to the brand Nabu Naturschutzbund which is one of the biggest environment organizations in Germany. It is aesthetically beautiful yet disturbing and it evoques what interests me when it comes to fashion and clothing, the dicothomies of hiding and revealing, of formal and informal, of beauty and decadence. We're always establishing opposites when it comes to fashion, right?

Almost here

But before i get back for good let me just share some pictures from my April's favourite editorial.
It's from the Dutch edition of the L'Officiel and it was what made me buy the maganize, which i didn't know before but i ended up finding really INSPIRING when it comes to styling. Beastyful, isn't it? ;)
